The Texas Speed L87 6.2L DOD Delete Kit with Camshaft removes the Active Fuel Management (AFM/DOD) system from the Gen V L87 6.2L used in 2019 to 2025 GM trucks and SUVs and replaces the factory camshaft with a Texas Speed OEM-style non-DOD camshaft. It collects the lifters, 2019+ DOD hole plugs, head gaskets, head bolts, cam phaser hardware and gaskets needed for the conversion in a single part number.
The kit uses GM/Delphi LS7-style lifters on LS3 lifter trays, a 2014+ LT1 head bolt kit, TSP OE-style Gen V 6.2L head gaskets, a GM LT 2019+ cam phaser bolt and valve, a wet sump balancer bolt, a front crank seal and the valley cover, exhaust manifold and water pump gaskets. Tuning is required after installation. Texas Speed offers its DOD Delete Programmer Kit as an optional add-on for 2019 to 2022 Silverado and Sierra trucks only; it does not work with SUV applications.
