The Texas Speed Piston & Rod Package for 4.00" Stroke supplies matched connecting rods and Wiseco forged pistons for LS stroker builds using a 4.00" stroke crankshaft. Texas Speed offers the brand-name rods and pistons it uses in its own engines as a package, with the ring set included in every piston option.
The Wiseco pistons use a multi-fit valve pocket for cathedral-port, LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads. All piston options are designed for a 4.00" stroke with a 6.125" rod and .927" pin, with bore sizes from 3.903" through 4.185" and volumes from +5cc domes to -20cc dishes. Nine connecting rod options are offered, from Scat and Eagle H-beam and I-beam rods through TSP billet and boost-specific billet I-beams and Callies Ultra rods. Texas Speed stresses that the selected rods must correspond to the selected pistons.

- Optional: Wiseco tool steel wrist pins (WIS-S718)
Ordering Options
Two selections are required when ordering: the connecting rods (nine 6.125" options from TSP, Eagle, Callies and Scat) and the Wiseco piston set, chosen by bore size and volume. Texas Speed offers upgraded Wiseco tool steel wrist pins (WIS-S718) as an optional add-on. Make sure the rods selected correspond to the pistons selected, since pin size and rod length must match.
Note: This package covers 4.00" stroke piston applications only. Texas Speed offers a separate Wiseco piston and rod package for 3.622" stroke engines.

FAQ
What do I need to select when ordering the Texas Speed Wiseco 4.00" stroke piston and rod package?
Two selections are required: a 6.125" connecting rod set from TSP, Eagle, Callies or Scat, and a Wiseco piston set chosen by bore size and volume. Upgraded Wiseco tool steel wrist pins are an optional add-on.
What LS combinations use a 4.00" stroke?
A 4.00" stroke crankshaft is the basis for common LS stroker builds, and this Texas Speed package covers bore sizes from 3.903" to 4.185" so it can be matched to iron and aluminum blocks of various bore sizes. The crankshaft is not included.
Which cylinder heads do the Wiseco pistons work with?
The Wiseco pistons use a multi-fit valve pocket that accommodates the valve sizes of cathedral-port, LS3 and LS7 cylinder heads, so the same piston design works across the common LS head families.
Are piston rings included?
Yes. Texas Speed prices every Wiseco piston set in this package with the ring set included.
What is the difference between the rod options?
Texas Speed offers H-beam and I-beam rods at several strength levels, from Scat Pro-Comp and Eagle H-beams with ARP 8740 bolts through TSP Super I-Beam and H-Beam rods with ARP L19 bolts, Callies Compstar and Ultra rods with ARP 2000 bolts, and TSP billet and boost-specific billet I-beams for high-horsepower and forced induction builds.
Does this package fit a stock 3.622" stroke engine?
No. Every piston in this package is designed for a 4.00" stroke. Texas Speed sells a separate Wiseco piston and rod package for factory 3.622" stroke engines.
