The Texas Speed Billet Vented Valley Cover with Gasket Kit is built for high-horsepower LS engines, especially turbocharged combinations that generate excessive crankcase pressure. The cover vents positive crankcase pressure through dual -12 ORB ports, with adapters included, and uses a built-in baffle system to reduce oil carryover so the vented air carries less oil vapor. Texas Speed designed it to cut oil vapor contamination and help prevent front and rear main seal blowout.
The cover also carries a 1/8" NPT provision for a RIFE style crankcase pressure sensor and remains compatible with the OEM oil pressure sensor. A molded O-ring in a dovetail groove simplifies installation. Choose the Gen 3 LS or Gen 4 LS configuration at ordering; each comes with its matching gasket kit. The cover works with blocked-off rear steam ports but does not fit most 4-corner steam port kits, OEM plastic intake manifolds, low-style FAST intake manifolds or PDS superchargers.

FAQ
What does the Texas Speed billet vented valley cover do?
It vents excessive positive crankcase pressure from high-horsepower LS engines, especially turbocharged builds, through dual -12 ORB ports while an internal baffle reduces oil carryover. Texas Speed designed it to reduce oil vapor contamination and help prevent front and rear main seal blowout.
Should I choose the Gen 3 or Gen 4 valley cover?
Choose the configuration that matches the engine block. Gen 3 LS covers the 1997 to 2007 era LS1, LS6 and early 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L truck engines, while Gen 4 LS covers the LS2, LS3, LS7 and later 4.8L to 6.2L truck engines. Each selection includes the matching gasket kit.
What is included in the valley cover kit?
Each kit includes the Texas Speed billet vented valley cover in the selected Gen 3 or Gen 4 configuration, the matching gasket kit and the adapters for the dual -12 ORB vent ports.
Will this valley cover fit under my intake manifold?
Texas Speed states the cover does not fit most 4-corner steam port kits, OEM plastic intake manifolds, low-style FAST intake manifolds or PDS superchargers. It works with blocked-off rear steam ports, so check the intake and steam port setup before ordering.
Does the vented valley cover have a crankcase pressure sensor port?
Yes. The cover has a 1/8" NPT provision for a RIFE style crankcase pressure sensor, and it remains compatible with the OEM oil pressure sensor so factory oil pressure monitoring is retained.
Is this valley cover only for turbo engines?
No. Texas Speed designed it for high-horsepower LS applications in general, but turbocharged combinations that build excessive crankcase pressure are the primary use case because of the venting capacity and baffling.
