The Texas Speed 5.3L 332ci LS Brawler Balanced Rotating Assembly is an overbore forged rotating assembly for 5.3L LS engines, assembled from the same parts and workmanship as the Texas Speed Brawler engine program and stocked to ship within a few days. It pairs a GM 3.622" stroke nodular iron crankshaft with a 58x reluctor and 6-bolt flange, Texas Speed or K1 Technologies forged 4340 steel 6.125" H-beam connecting rods and Wiseco 2618 forged 3.820" pistons with a -4cc dish, no valve reliefs, S718 wrist pins and coated skirts.
The 3.820" pistons take the 5.3L to 332 cubic inches, so this is not a drop-in kit: the block must be bored to accept the oversized pistons. Every assembly includes Clevite main and rod bearings and piston rings, and the crankshaft is digitally spin balanced on a CWT balancer to the weight of the supplied components. A Lingenfelter crank sensor conversion box is required in 24x Gen III vehicles.

FAQ
What is included in the Texas Speed 332ci Brawler rotating assembly?
It includes a GM 3.622" stroke nodular iron crankshaft with a 58x reluctor, eight Texas Speed or K1 Technologies forged 4340 6.125" H-beam rods, eight Wiseco 2618 forged 3.820" -4cc dish pistons with S718 pins, piston rings and Clevite main and rod bearings, balanced as a set.
Will the 332 Brawler rotating assembly drop into a stock 5.3L block?
No. The Wiseco pistons are 3.820" bore, so the 5.3L block must be bored and honed to accept them. Texas Speed's 325ci Brawler assembly is the stock-bore drop-in alternative.
Does the 58x reluctor work with a 24x Gen III engine?
Only with a converter. The crank carries a 58x reluctor wheel, so a 24x-equipped Gen III vehicle requires a Lingenfelter crank sensor conversion box, part number L460065397.
Is the rotating assembly balanced?
Yes. Texas Speed digitally spin balances the crankshaft to the weight of the supplied rods, pistons and rings on a CWT balancer, so the assembly arrives ready for the machine shop to install.
Do the Wiseco pistons have valve reliefs?
No. The Wiseco 3.820" -4cc dish pistons in this assembly have no valve reliefs, coated skirts and S718 wrist pins, per Texas Speed's specification.
