The Texas Speed 427ci 4.000" Stroke Sleeved Gen V LT2 Stroker Short Block is a custom-built foundation for high-output builds on the Gen V LT2 engine used in the 2020 to 2024 Corvette C8. Texas Speed fully sleeves the LT2 block to a 4.125" bore and fits a 4.000" stroke rotating assembly, raising displacement to 427 cubic inches for more torque and the strength to support high-compression or boosted combinations.
Each short block is machined, balanced, blueprinted and assembled in house, with the connecting rods and pistons chosen at ordering. Rod choices range from Texas Speed H-beam and I-beam rods to Callies Compstar, Ultra H-beam and Ultra Enforcer rods and Wiseco Boostline rods, and pistons include Wiseco, CP, Mahle and Diamond 4.125" forgings from -6.1cc flat top to -23cc dish, including the Diamond LT2K 2000 HP piston set. Oil pan modification or an aftermarket oil pan is required for the stroker crank, and Texas Speed offers a stroker oil pan as an add-on. Break-in oil and the shipping cradle and crate are included.

Ordering Options
Three selections are required when ordering: connecting rods, piston set and whether to include the Texas Speed stroker oil pan (yes or no). An aftermarket or modified oil pan is required for the 4.000" stroke, so choose the oil pan or plan to modify the factory pan.
Note: Oil pan modification or an aftermarket oil pan is required.
Note: All short blocks are custom built to order. Final compression ratio and engine configuration vary with the components selected. Proper tuning and supporting fuel, cooling and engine management systems are required for high-performance applications, and additional vehicle-specific components may be required.

FAQ
What vehicles does the Texas Speed 427 LT2 stroker short block fit?
It is built on the Gen V LT2 block from the 2020 to 2024 Chevrolet Corvette C8, so it is intended for C8 Corvette engine builds and LT2-based swaps.
How does Texas Speed get 427 cubic inches from an LT2?
The LT2 block is fully sleeved to a 4.125" bore and fitted with a 4.000" stroke crankshaft and 6.125" connecting rods, which increases displacement from the factory 6.2L to 427 cubic inches.
Do I need a different oil pan with this short block?
Yes. Texas Speed states that oil pan modification or an aftermarket oil pan is required for the 4.000" stroke, and offers its stroker oil pan as an add-on when ordering.
Is the LT2 short block suitable for boost?
Yes. Texas Speed lists naturally aspirated, high-compression and forced-induction applications. Dish pistons such as the Wiseco -20cc, CP -23cc and the Diamond LT2K 2000 HP set are offered for boosted combinations.
Is the short block balanced and assembled?
Yes. Each 427 LT2 short block is precision machined, balanced, blueprinted and assembled in house by Texas Speed and custom built to order with the rods and pistons selected.
What is not included with the LT2 short block?
Cylinder heads, camshaft, timing components, oil pump, covers and the oil pan (unless the stroker pan is added) are not included. Tuning and supporting fuel, cooling and engine management are also required.
