    This retrofit column is specifically designed to fit a rack and pinion system on a 1967-1972 Chevy truck and installs without modification to the original vehicle. It is made shorter than the standard column to lessen the angle of the u-joints, and installs using the original under dash mount and floor mount. A neutral safety switch is included, the shift pattern works with either a 3- or 4-speed automatic transmission, and a wiring harness adaptor is included. A steering wheel adaptor keeps an aftermarket wheel's gripping surface in the stock position.
