Most turbo kits on the market are either priced out of reach or cut so many corners you end up paying twice. Speed Engineering's LS swap twin turbo kit was built to change that — a complete, well-engineered hot-side system utilizing Precision 62mm turbochargers, your choice of an air-to-air intercooler, and a full 3" stainless exhaust system tested and proven across multiple LS swap applications in A-body, F-body, and C10 platforms.
The results speak for themselves. On a Mustang 1100MD dyno the kit has been tested on three different builds:
- 6.0L LQ4 stock engine with 224 cam — 495 RWHP on 5 lbs of boost
- 4.8L stock engine with 224 cam swap — 710 RWHP on 18 lbs
- Built 6.0L with heads and cam — 750 RWHP on 15 lbs, 800 RWHP on 18 lbs
The 62mm turbo sizing delivers quick spool time on stock displacement engines while leaving substantial headroom to push the kit further when you're ready.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- Fuel system and tuning are not included — both are required for safe operation and are the buyer's responsibility
- No drivetrain warranty is provided with this kit
- Ignition coils must be relocated to a remote area for proper installation
- Kit was designed with the engine set back in the engine bay on adjustable motor mounts using LS1 1998–2002 Camaro accessory drive. Recommended power steering bracket 551581-2 and alternator bracket 551668-2. Some applications may require chassis modifications for fitment of accessory drive components
- Cold side tubing is completely universal — the hot side piping is designed for the applicable vehicles listed, but the cold side may need additional brackets or tubing to complete your build
- Some aftermarket components may cause fitment issues with installation
- Kit dimensions: Approximately 5.5" above the engine block (top of headers), 16" from the engine block, and 38" wide (without air filters)
