    Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing long and MID-LENGTH tube headers for Chevy trucks for nearly as long. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Big Block Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.

    These uncoated, LONG-TUBE headers are one of Hedman's best selling Chevy truck headers. They fit a wide range of early to mid-year 2WD and 4WD Chevy Trucks and SUVs, powered by a Big Block Chevy engine. Included in this header's long list of applications is 1968-1991 Chevy/GMC 1/2 to 1 Ton 2WD, or 1/2 and 3/4 ton 4WD trucks, Blazers and Suburbans (check the application listings for exact fitment). The smooth 1-3/4 in. tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your truck's 396-502 BB Chevy engine breathe easy, and produce maximum horsepower and torque.

    These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish.

    Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
