Overview
The BTR V3 Truck Camshaft Series represents the most extensive truck cam development program BTR has ever undertaken. The Stage 2 V3 cam delivers a strong balance of midrange torque and horsepower under the curve — perfect for trucks that tow or need extra punch without sacrificing drivability.
BTR utilized advanced valvetrain simulation, dynamic modeling, and Spintron testing on both cathedral and square-port heads to ensure valvetrain stability and reliability across all LS truck applications.
Each camshaft was extensively validated on both engine and chassis dynos, using full-length single and dual exhaust systems, OEM-style intakes, and real-time in-cylinder combustion monitoring. Hundreds of dyno sessions were performed to optimize cam timing, overlap, and scavenging — maximizing torque and efficiency across the usable RPM range.
These cams are not rehashed catalog lobes — they’re clean-sheet designs built with race-level engineering rigor, advanced lobe development, and combustion modeling normally reserved for motorsport programs. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.
