Overview
The new BTR V3 Truck Camshafts are the result of our most extensive truck cam development program ever. These cams deliver more average torque and horsepower under the curve — perfect for trucks that need strong midrange performance and enhanced towing capability.
BTR used advanced valvetrain simulation, dynamic modeling tools, and Spintron development on both square and cathedral port heads to guarantee reliable, stable valvetrain performance across all platforms.
Each cam was validated through engine and chassis dyno testing using full-length single and dual truck exhaust systems and OEM-style intakes. High-speed exhaust and intake sensors, along with in-cylinder pressure measurements, helped fine-tune cam timing, valve overlap, and scavenging for maximum torque and efficiency.
These “Truck” cams receive the same engineering rigor as our race programs — no old catalog lobes. This is a clean-sheet design built with motorsport-level analytical tools, Spintron lobe development, and wave-based combustion tuning. Plus, it’s 100% USA-designed and manufactured.
