What is the advantage of polyurethane motor mounts over factory rubber mounts?
Polyurethane bushings are significantly stiffer than factory rubber mounts, which reduces engine movement under hard acceleration and improves drivetrain response. The tradeoff is slightly more NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) transmitted into the cabin compared to stock rubber mounts — a common and acceptable tradeoff on performance builds.

What is the difference between these mounts and the 1999–2006 GMT800 mounts (26-1118)?
Part 26-1121 is designed for the 2007–2013 GMT900 platform (Silverado, Sierra, and GMT900 SUVs). Part 26-1118 is designed for the 1999–2006 GMT800 platform. Each mount is engineered for its specific chassis generation — they are not interchangeable.
