MSD's Super Conductor 8.5mm spark plug wires deliver incredibly low resistance without sacrificing electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression. Each 12-inch section of wire carries only 40-50 ohms of resistance, among the lowest of any helically wound wire, thanks to a copper alloy conductor wound tightly around a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core that chokes EMI inside the wire so it can't interfere with other electronics. The silicone-blend outer sleeve resists high heat, abrasion, and tears, while Dual Crimp terminals secure both the wire sleeve and the conductor for a durable connection.

FAQ
What vehicles is this MSD spark plug wire set designed for?
This set is designed for 1988-1989 Chevrolet and GMC R30/V30 and R3500/V3500 trucks equipped with a big block V8.
What material is the outer sleeve made from and how durable is it?
The outer sleeve uses a proprietary silicone and synthetic material blend that resists high heat, abrasion, and tears for long-term durability in the engine bay.
What is the wire diameter and resistance rating?
These are 8.5mm Super Conductor wires with only 40-50 ohms of resistance per 12-inch section, among the lowest of any helically wound spark plug wire, for improved spark energy delivery.
Are the wires precut, or do they need to be trimmed during installation?
Each wire is precut to the exact length for its cylinder position on the listed application, so no trimming or cutting is required.
What warranty comes with this MSD wire set?
This wire set is backed by MSD's manufacturer's limited 1-year warranty.
