The Aeromotive Atomic Belt Drive is a 12 GPM mechanical fuel pump built to feed serious EFI and carbureted engines on gasoline, ethanol, or methanol. It is driven by a pulley and cog belt from the crankshaft. A high-efficiency Gerotor pumping mechanism sits in a Type III hard-anodized body CNC-machined from 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum. EFI applications require a high-flow bypass regulator.
