The ACCEL 140773-6 is a set of six ACCEL SuperCoil direct-ignition (coil-on-plug) coils for the 2016 Ford EcoBoost 2.7L V6, bringing the SuperCoil upgrade to EcoBoost owners alongside ACCEL's long-running Ford 2-valve, 3-valve, and 5.0L Coyote coils. ACCEL SuperCoils use advanced bobbin technology, a specialized silicon magnetic steel core, optimized low-resistance windings, and an engineered turns ratio for higher energy and voltage output, which brings quicker starts, a smoother idle, and crisper throttle response. High-temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration while improving thermal conductivity. It is a direct high-performance replacement for the OE coil.
