It is suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant and vacuum service, and works with E85 and methanol, though fumes can permeate the hose when fuel is left stagnant for long periods. A PTFE flex hose is recommended for extended E85 and methanol use. This hose is not intended for brake lines or other hydraulic pressure lines and is not recommended for in-tank or extended submersion applications. Operating temperature range runs from -40 degrees F to 300 degrees F (-40 degrees C to 150 degrees C).
