Borgeson steel steering couplers are a straight 2in. extension used to lengthen a steering box, rack-and-pinion, or column shaft, sometimes eliminating the need for an additional universal joint. Couplers can be welded or pinned to the unsplined end of a shaft; because there are no moving parts, welding does not risk damaging the coupler. Precision machined from solid billet steel, couplers are available in the same spline and Double-D sizes as Borgeson's universal joints.
