    The TCI Torqueflite 727 Aluminum Transmission Shield fits over the body of the transmission to protect the driver and bystanders in the event of a drum explosion. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, powder-coated blue, and is lightweight. The shield is SFI 4.1 certified and accepted by major sanctioning bodies for racing. SFI certification expires five years from the date of manufacture, and units can be returned to TCI for re-certification. A red version is offered as 910000.
