The Volant cold air intake replaces the restrictive factory air box and tubing on the 2008-2019 Nissan Frontier, Xterra and Pathfinder 4.0L V6 with a sealed high-flow system. A high-velocity venturi filter adapter smooths the transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube, and the enclosed cool-air box is larger than the factory unit with a bigger opening to draw a higher volume of cooler ambient air. It uses an oiled cotton gauze filter that is washable and reusable, and it bolts on in under an hour.
