Lowering the F-150 improves its stance, and correct driveline angle keeps it driving smoothly. The strong 6061-T6 aluminum shims feature a 2.5 degree taper and a natural finish, and they bolt in directly. The kit includes a pair of shims and is for use with the UMI flip kit. UMI Performance manufactures this kit in the USA.

Specifications:

Pinion angle shim kit for lowered trucks

For use with the UMI flip kit

6061-T6 aluminum with 2.5 degree taper

Bare aluminum natural finish

Includes a pair of shims

Direct bolt-in

Made in the USA

Part number: 6574

Vehicle Applications:

2015 Ford F-150

2016 Ford F-150

2017 Ford F-150

2018 Ford F-150

2019 Ford F-150

2020 Ford F-150

2021 Ford F-150

2022 Ford F-150

2023 Ford F-150

2024 Ford F-150

FAQ

What vehicles does the UMI 6574 pinion shim kit fit?

It fits 2015 through 2024 Ford F-150 trucks and is intended for use with the UMI flip kit.

What problem does the pinion shim kit solve?

It corrects pinion angle on lowered trucks to reduce or eliminate lowering induced driveline vibration for a smoother drive.

What are the shims made from?

The shims are machined from strong 6061-T6 aluminum with a 2.5 degree taper and a natural bare aluminum finish.
