It uses a single adjustable valving design that softens or stiffens the overall ride with one knob, which suits street driving. The threaded body and included hardware kit allow quick and easy ride height adjustment, and a 2.5 inch spring of the appropriate length and rate completes the setup. Each Proma Star shock is made in the USA and dyno tested, and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty when registered before installation.

Specifications:

Type: Proma Star coil-over shock

Adjustment: single adjustable

Spring: accepts 2.5 inch diameter spring (sold separately)

Compressed height: 10-1/8 in

Extended height: 14 in

Mounting: bearing top and bearing bottom

Made in the USA, dyno tested

Limited lifetime warranty with registration

Part number: DS401

FAQ

What vehicles do QA1 Proma Star coil-over shocks fit?

They are universal coil-over shocks for a wide range of vehicles and custom chassis or suspension builds, rather than a direct fit part.

Is the DS401 single or double adjustable?

The DS401 is single adjustable, using one knob to soften or stiffen the overall ride.

What are the compressed and extended heights of the DS401?

The DS401 has a compressed height of 10-1/8 inches and an extended height of 14 inches.

What spring does the Proma Star shock use?

It accepts a 2.5 inch diameter spring of the appropriate length and rate, which is sold separately.

What mounting does the DS401 use?

It uses a bearing mount on both ends.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0586/9548/3440/files/f2537e3558d63_434cc1b6-d50f-4cd0-91f2-6811d9324c60.jpg?v=1766455706
https://berryperformancesales.com/products/qa1-proma-star-single-adjustable-coil-over-shock-bjgm-ds401
