The EGT probe lets drivers watch critical exhaust gas temperatures so added power does not create excessive heat that can cause engine damage, and multiple EGT sensors can be connected through the EAS system to compare readings at different locations. An EAS Starter Kit (part number 98602) is required.

Specifications:

Product line: Edge Expandable Accessory System (EAS)

Type: expandable EGT probe kit

Monitors exhaust gas temperature

Supports multiple EGT sensors through EAS

Requires an EAS Starter Kit (98602)

Application: universal

Part number: 98611

FAQ

What does the 98611 EGT kit monitor?

It monitors exhaust gas temperature so added power does not create heat that could damage the engine.

Can more than one EGT sensor be used?

Yes.
