The Heavy Duty pressure plate uses ACT's exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load and reduce deflection, and every diaphragm goes through a four-stage heat-treating process for consistent performance. The Performance Street disc uses premium organic friction material with high copper content for improved heat transfer, plus steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability, with reduced marcel for faster, crisper shifts. The kit includes an ACT Prolite flywheel; installation requires the included ACT flywheel or an LS flat flywheel.

Specifications:

Torque Capacity: 709 ft-lb (42% over OE)

Product Weight: 43.9 lbs

Disc Diameter: 11 in (280 mm)

Pressure Plate: Heavy Duty, four-stage heat-treated diaphragm

Disc Material: Organic, high-copper content, steel-backed lining

Disc Style: Sprung hub

Flywheel: ACT Prolite flywheel included; requires ACT flywheel (included) or LS flat flywheel

Pedal Feel: Light to moderate effort, smooth positive engagement, OE to mild gear rattle

Recommended Use: Street and race use

Part Number: GM12-HDSS

Vehicle Applications:

2011 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS

2012 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

2008 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Limited Edition Z06

2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2009 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2013 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon

Warning: This product can expose you to chemicals including carbon black, glass wool fibers, or silica (in clutch discs), chromium and nickel, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
