17in-fan-clutch-fan-standard-rotation-17117
Derale 17" Fan Clutch Fan | Standard Rotation, Black | 17117

The Derale 17117 is a 17" mechanical cooling fan finished in black, designed for standard-rotation fan-clutch applications. It mounts on a thermal fan clutch so the fan engages for strong airflow when the engine is hot and freewheels when cool, which reduces drag, noise, and power loss compared with a fixed fan. It is a universal mechanical fan for standard (clockwise) rotation engines.

Specifications:

Type: mechanical cooling fan for fan-clutch applications

Diameter: 17"

Rotation: standard (clockwise)

Finish: black

Mounting: installs on a thermal fan clutch

Part number: 17117

FAQ

What is the Derale 17117 fan?

It is a 17" black mechanical cooling fan for standard-rotation fan-clutch setups.

How does it mount?

It installs on a thermal fan clutch, which engages the fan when hot and lets it freewheel when cool.

What rotation does it require?

It is for standard (clockwise) rotation engines.
